Gabriela “Gaby” Lopez is a Puerto Rican dancer and choreographer from Orlando FL, specializing in hip hop with strong roots in freestyle and house. She began her formal training at MOTIV Dance Studio in 2022, and is now a key member of MOTIV Crew, under world-renowned choreographer Marlee Hightower.

Gaby’s recent performance credits include the viral “We The People” mega crew project for the hit Korean TV show World of Street Woman Fighter. The video has amassed over 5 million views and was highlighted in Forbes magazine, marking it as one of the most impactful dance video pieces of the year. 

 

She has also appeared in music videos for artists such as Blanca and Redimi2, choreographed a short film project for Christopher Syncere, and continues to expand her work across stage and screen.

As an instructor, Gaby teaches beginner and advanced hip hop weekly at MOTIV, where she emphasizes authenticity, raw emotion, and loyalty to the essence of hip hop culture. For her, dance is not only an art form, but a way to understand herself more deeply and to build connections within her community.
